Formerly a school and now proudly under New Management & Ownership, The Courtyard on Sober Lane is stepping into an exciting new chapter in the heart of Cork City, with fresh ideas, vibrant events & fantastic plans ahead.

The venue is made up of four distinctive spaces, The Quarter Deck, the Lower Deck, The Courtyard & the Flying Enterprise Bar, each offering its own atmosphere while coming together to create a unique social experience for every occasion.

Our recently added covered canopy ensures the outdoor Courtyard can be enjoyed 365 days a year, whatever the weather. Whether you’re joining us for live sporting events, corporate parties, BBQs, or a casual meet-up with friends & family, we welcome both small & large groups to enjoy our indoor seating areas or the partially covered outdoor courtyard.

Under new ownership, we’ve introduced an exciting new All Day Food Menu, alongside a brand-new All Day Breakfast Menu, perfect from morning through to evening. We proudly source our ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible. Alongside customer favourites such as the Buttermilk Chicken Burger, Courtyard Burger & our Stone-Baked Italian Pizzas, guests can now enjoy new dishes including Fish Taco Goujons & the BBQ Korean Chicken Burger.

To complement the venue, our Flying Enterprise Bar, cocktail bar & whiskey bar offer an extensive drinks selection. From timeless classics like Whiskey Sours, Old Fashioneds & Pornstar Martinis to our creative signature cocktails made with bold, flavoursome ingredients, there’s something for everyone. Recent favourites include The Golden One, Mai Tai & Nebula Effect.

There’s always something happening at The Courtyard. Enjoy live DJs every Friday & Saturday night, our popular Quiz Night every Wednesday & take advantage of our fantastic student food & drink offers from Sunday to Thursday.
